Water & Force-Main Boring in the Gateway City Region
Laredo's water math is singular: the Rio Grande is the municipal supply — intakes on the river, treatment on its bank, and a distribution system carrying river water to one of the fastest-growing cities in Texas, with no aquifer alternative at city scale. That reality drives the work: transmission mains reaching new growth, force mains between consolidating plants, renewals beneath a grid parts of which date to the railroad era, and the system-hardening projects a sole-source city rightly prioritizes. Rio Bravo's and El Cenizo's systems downstream add their own district register. We pull fused HDPE and fusible PVC on profile, fusion certs in the submittal, testing to the owner's standard.
The terrain gives water work its grade drama — upland flats dropping through arroyo cuts to the river corridor — so grade-critical shots carry rod-by-rod verification, and alignments the cuts won't truthfully allow get flagged at scope.
Supply-water stewardship is the standing fluid doctrine: containment, monitored returns, and clean disposal run at source-protection grade on every bore, tightest of all in the intake corridors — the city drinks downstream of everything we do, and the plans are written like we know it.
